After X no of years I have finally returned to Astronomy although in my day this was somewhat a grandiose statement. Binoculars and pointing with fingers and wishing that I had the $2k or $3k to buy a telescope. The nearest was subscribing to Sky and Telescope and reading Patrick Moore's books. Now, after helping my brother in law and friend, Robin Durant , to build his observatory I have taken the plunge and invested in a Celestron NexStar 4SE and a Canon 400 EOS. Of course it does help if I could see the heavens but I can wait......
