Xmas newbie

So, after years of sitting in the back garden using night sky, my wife decided to buy me a telescope for christmas.

I would definitely be classed as a total newbie though, no experience of anything telescope related. Lots of learning to come!!

I’m now the owner of a Celestron Nexstar 6SE. Unfortunately the skies here have been cloudy since, but hoping it will clear at some point so I can at least try and set it up!!

Hopefully I can eventually put my pretty defunct Nikon dslr so some good as well in the future.

Look forward to getting some info from you very knowledgable people on here.

Nikons do not become defunct though, they mature gracefully  into classic cameras ... 😀
