Eskimo Nebula

I'm quite pleased at how this turned out. It's 56 X 60 at ISO800 sec subs and processed with DSS and tweaked in PixeInsight. It's quite a bright nebula and very easy to find just below Gemini and processing it is pretty similar to the Ring Nebula - not much at all.

Thanks for the comments! The images (all 56) are cropped quite a bit from the full size down to 1000 X 1200 size then 2 X drizzled in DSS. There's a batch processing function in the EOS utilities package that came with the camera that crops the images.

Very nice. Excellent resolution for an 8". Shows again how effective the unmodded DSLRs are on planetaries, a point I made several times. Also how they respond well to large numbers of short subs stacked.
