Nigella Bryant
Hi all, if I've correctly done the right coordinates the ISS will transit the Sun around 4.48 ish from the central line over Bristol UK and a few kilometers either side of that. I'm bang in the centre line so clouds permitting I'm going to try and get this using my lunt 60mm and zwo asi 120mm. Heads up for anyone else in this area. Stu
Good luck Nigella! Look forward to seeing the pics if the cloud stays away.

Nigella Bryant
Captured the ISS in transit, clouds started across the sun b4 and threw my solar mount off centre a bit but definitely got the space station going across the solar disk. Now I have to process the image. Just some screen shots for now. Seems it was so fast I needed to speed up the captures as I've only managed to get two frames with the space station on them. Oh well. John
I'll look forward to seeing the results ! I got my scope setup and on the Sun with a Herschel Wedge but I'm a few miles SW of the centre line so I have the feeling that it was a grazing flypast from here at best and very quick. Anyway I didn't see it but thanks for the "heads up" anyway
Stu
Well done! Not an easy thing to do.
John
Great result ! Looking at the fly by "corridor" again I realise that I'm just off the edge of it hence the "no show" of the ISS for me. I'm glad you got it though.
KingNothing13
Very nice! But it does look like a TIE Fighter.

maw lod qan
An incredible image! Well done. It does look like a TIE fighter, but just remember, astrophotography has been referred to as the "Dark Side". The force was with you.😁
Nigella Bryant
Up date, further looking at the avi I've managed to get 16 tiff files with the ISS crossing the solar disk, if anyone knows how I can put these together with gimp or CS2 I'd appreciate it. Thanks for all the good comments. I am chuffed to have captured it.
jock1958
Excellent! due to the speed it travels at it’s a very difficult target to follow in a scope let alone image 👍

Nigella Bryant
After three days of playing with Photoshop I've managed to layer several images into one of the ISS solar transit. Here is my effort. Will post under solar imaging as well. Thanks for everyone's support and help with my huge learning curve with layering.
