£10k how would you spend it?

As normal in work they are talking about redundancies, the only saving grace is I would get a payout of at least 30k.

Now a hyperthetical question if I was to spend 10K on a scope and mount what would you choose.

In reality this money would go towards paying the mortgage off :)

So guys £10,000 how would you spend it?

This is only my opnion.

But why pay off the morg you all ready have the house, and the money is there to play with, just leave some in the bank [northeren rock ahem]

And enjoy some of it.

The rest can pay the morg as and when you need till you get another job.

Or you could always help me out. :)

Bernie.

I like your thinking.

If I had a choice it would be.....

G11 mount with Gemini Go-to.

William optics 152 Refractor

Williams Optics 80 as a guide scope

A very good ccd camera

lots of accessories.

If only.

Scary to think, but I reckon that's more than 10 grand.....

£10K Is a lovely sum to play with, but whatever you buy, the desire to change to something else will manifest, and not all that long after either. :)

Ron.

Ron it's only a pipe dream.

Redundancies have been on the cards for years. I hope I'm not made redundant but if I am, i cannot spend 10k on a scope it would end in divorce.

Sorry Doc. I didn't mean to spoil the dream for you mate. I blundered a bit there. Funny thing is, I often daydream myself about having sufficient money to buy what I wanted without it having an Impact on the harmonious life I have.

Ron.
