I'll throw this in, but kinda cheating, as I'm in the process of sorting out the wiring on the big scope so it's all disconnected.

Eventually, there will be one (maybe two) cables to the scope (and a micro PC on the scope) and that's it. Maybe.

I learnt my lesson with loose cables early on in my imaging when they caught up and spoilt my imaging run!  So about the only things that are tidy around me are cables :D

Hmm... Most cables will simply pull out of sockets - A bent plug at worst? :o
Some cables are made of sterner stuff! lol I just managed to stop a fast slew
of a (then tripod) HEQ5. A "caught" BNC Coax (Integrating Video Camera)
had already pulled the tripod onto just two legs.

I admire folks who image for hours! Despite CCD camera Obsy monitoring,
I still "nip out" often to check that nothing has "caught up on anything"...
Rather negating the point of "Remote Control"? :D

I only have two cables on my non imagine Dob.  The one I constantly swear about is when I've finally achieved a calibrated GoTo and have just started to enjoy myself, only to find in the dark that I haven't spotted that the mains cable has wound itself around the base until it goes 'dink' and pulls out the mains cable where upon I lose the lot and am back to square one!!  However, if you really want to open up this comp. You should include 'the back of TV!!'
