Which types of scopes are likely to benefit most from using this, and what types of views and objects?

I've owned the Bresser SA 2X, TV Powermate 2.5x, Baader VIP 2x, and Baader Zeiss 2x. I still have the last two (and I think they are great), and sold the others (which are very good btw). 

I'm afraid but I have no experience with the model you posted.

I have the Baader Q-Turret 2.25x and the VIP barlows but I don't know this product. There is some information on the Astro Physics website on it:

It seems to be aimed at imagers ?

It appears to be an integrated field flattener and image magnifier for imaging to be used instead of a field flattener and barlow or eyepiece projection to increase image scale.
