Not a bad start to the day  ? Another lovely morning here in Northampton again. 

The sun isn't as lively as yesterday but there are a few nice features still hanging about, there is a lovely arced prom around the north of the disc and a potential cracker Jack around the 5 O'clock position .... I have noticed this type of shape before and it can explode with no notice.

Quick Snap.. Oh how it would be nice to see some scope time, been dodging clouds and heavy rain for a good few weeks here... hopefully tonight will be a opportunity on the moon for me..

It's a little bit warm outside, more refreshments I fear....where is Kerry when you need him !

 I might light a little BBQ and cook a steak to go with this lovely fruit salad?

"bar humbug" havnt drunk nothing stronger than coffee for nigh 20 years, I long for a pint "darn meds" ive a 40 year old scotch in the cubby I keep to torment me ,I sometimes take the cork out for a smell I will givin to temptation one day.. charl

Hello Shaun. Plenty of Italian white in stock but I usually wait until the evening! 

Also waiting for the new spot to come around and I'll get the wedgie out again

I absolutely love it mate! Circumstances and conditions have not been ideal since I got it but I've enjoyed every minute when I have been observing. The combination of the scope and the Ioptron mount is a winner.

Really looking forward to the longer nights.

I grabbed a quick look at this using my Baader Solar film filter during lunch today, and was pleased to see some activity again.  I did wonder whether it was AR2665 coming into view again.

I'm excited to try out my new Lacerta Herschel Wedge on this region when its delivered tomorrow.  Fingers crossed that the box doesn't contain an abundance of clouds.

Apologies in advance if my new acquisition results in a deterioration of weather conditions.

Well I am off work for 2 weeks Kerry so if the chance pops up give me a shout and I would love to look through it.

One is certainly on my wish list, it's a shame they don't do a 120 double ?
