The Solar Chromosphere - 4th March 2017

Exactly a month since my last solar session. That's not to say we haven't seen the Sun for a month just that all the sunny bits have coincided with work :BangHead: Forecast for this weekend was for more permacloud with a significant amount of rain just for good measure (actually I can handle cloud when it's doing something just hate cloud for clouds sake ). Reality was that although it was a little windy there was some good clear gaps. Not much going on it white light (if there were any spots / pores I couldn't see them) so decided to process the Ca-K and H Alpha first.

Not much activity at all really, not even any significant proms to show off!

H Alpha @400mm. Two layers (Surface / Proms) combined in GIMP. Hopefully someone else will do this properly later

Will process and post the white light data a little bit later.
