well the forcast was right for a change, but not alot to see, just one very small spot and two pores, but im happy to see the sun after what seams endless dark. kit- ed80, 1.5x barlow, lunt wedge, 1200d in mono and 1:1 crop mode. 64 frames staxed with regi.

Nice clean Sun Charl, just got back from SGLX11, got a couple of glimpses of the Sun but no images, fog here today.

thanks Dave, bet you had a great time at the starparty mate, id love to go to one.  its cloudy here today "tues" i did get a bit of vis but it was much the same as yesterday. i had the fog lastnight, horrible stuff ,hope it clears for you.  charl.

Nice Images...about the same as I got with microobservatory the night before last. I did get some detail on the closeup though but not much. I have been using the service on cloudy nights to supply raw images to practice editing...these are the raw gifs...

Here is the little 17kb image I pulled out...not bad considering the Sun was nowhere close to being seen for a hundred miles. Have to research some of the larger pay to play online scopes and maybe indulge...
