Mostly very heavy rain today, flooding in the Dales not too far away.  Between 3 and 4 pm there were a couple of brighter periods, totalling 14 minutes - and not continuously clear even in these.  The best prominences were in the E and it the SW there were a couple of patches of very faint ejected material.  In processing I really had to up the brightness to get them to show up  - I hadn't noticed them when taking the pictures.  Single frames with Lunt 60 DS, Olympus E-M10, 500 asa, both taken at 3.19 pm, on 1/80 and 1/30.

Great effort Paul, can't say I envy your neck of the woods for weather though. Today may be good for you.

Thank you Ewan.  I totally agree with you, I don't envy me in my neck of the woods either .
