Hi Guys,

Yet another animation, this time with the added fun of field rotation.

Taken with Lunt 60 PT SS, 2x Barlow. Processed and aligned in ImPPG and coloured in PS.

Nicely done Nihal, just been contemplating Barlowing my LS60 never bothered before as I use the Quark for close ups.

@xtreemchaos Hi Charl, Hopefully field rotation wont be a problem as I'm going to move on to the EQ mount. Just need to figure out how to set it up.

@Davey-T Dave, 2x Barlow is good but highlights the dust bunnies, I'm going to try with 2.5x powermate but first need to sort out the mount.

Nicely done Nihal. Some of the finer details are fascinating! The field rotation gives an interesting effect, like a spaceship going into orbit!

Thanks Charles, hopefully with EQ mount would be better.

Nihal, I am wondering why the field rotation is so conspicuous here. If the frames are centered, the only time you should notice it is the discrepancy between the last and first frame as the animation loops. Of course, you might have to crop a lot to align the frames, in which case, it might lose some of its drama. On the other hand the effect is neat!

Nice animation, I like the field rotation, makes it more interesting! What length of time does the animation cover?

@RobertI Hi Rob, Thanks for encouraging comments. Data was collected roughly (if memory serves me correct) over approx 2 hours.
