Here is an image of our Star taken this Morning shortly before noon.

PST + QHY5LII + Ioptron Tower II

It was not the best of days for solar imaging. Very windy and fast moving cloud, did not help. I am using a QHY5LII that has a smaller sensor than the QHY5II that i normally use.

There is a lot going on, which surprised me. The large hedgerow prominence, certainly looked impressive visually. I had hoped to get a close up of it, but the weather wasn't cooperating.

Thank you everyone.

I really get a buzz out of Solar imaging with the PST.

Hopefully I can capture plenty more, during the month. And,from Kelling next month.
