Have a look on Thomann in Germany there are dozens of really well made cases. I have bought on from them and it was solid. Foam is the bit you will need next. They did sell some very good stuff but I cannot see it now. For a HEAVY mirror I suggest a reconstituted foam about £50 for a sheet of 1" by 1 x 2 metres.

How are you going to drill the hole in the middle? TCT or diamond drill?

Earlier on today Mike and I were discussing storing my big dob in the shed to get it out of the conservatory.... having second thoughts now!!
