Amazing images indeed Michael, you comment though reminds me of the latest Christmas add offering on the box, where a young girl with a small scope, observing the Moon, spies an old lonely gentleman sat on a seat, she sends him a present of a scope, so he can look back and observe her. All very warming and encouraging to give at Christmas, but how many youngsters, I wonder, are going to have their interests awakened in wanting to observe the Moon. Possibly leading to an increase in the sale of department store telescopes at 340x mag, as you say

Thanks Stu, I wouldn't have seen these otherwise. I wonder who carved the V & H on the mountainside in the centre and I wonder what they stand for? The H is obviously Horizons
