Jupiter, Venus and a token Mars 2015.11.01

I only really got up to admire the view and maybe take a few widefield shots. The fact I woke a bit early and the conditions looked ok I thought I may as well get the C9.25 out! The conditions deteriorated pretty quickly with high haze and fog, but as I has already set up I thought I may as well give it a go.

All 3 images with the C9.25 and ASI 120mm.

Jupiter is an RGB image with 300 frames of 4,000 stacked per channel. Venus is with the Pro planet742. Mars was a token gesture really.

Conditions were so poor and Mars so small at the moment, I surprised to get any detail at all. But there is clearly some surface detail showing.

Nice. I particularly like the shot of Venus. Jupiter and Mars have a lot more interesting detail of course, but (perhaps as a consequence) good photos of Venus seem to be posted less regularly on here. Your Venus shot has a nice calm serenity to it.
