Woohooo!

Finally had a go with Big Red (aka Artemis 11002) last thursday

Was just a test shot as I am still playing with the spacing for the MPCC.

Details: 8" F/4 + MPCC + Art11002 + Astronomik Ha - no calibration frames taken - Exposure: 4x600sec + 1x300sec (45min total)

Hope you all like it

'salright I guess, but you've got some rather distracting stray light coming in there - pretty much over the whole field. Try not shining your torch down the scope during capture.

Oh. Ah. Hmm... That's nebulosity? That's just amazing!

:notworthy:

Makes me want to bin imaging and just let everybody else get on with it. Stunning image, as everyone else has said, can't wait to see the real deal. I've said this before but the skill and quality of work that some of you guys have is just outstanding. I tip my hat.
