The Dumbbell Nebula (M27) Reprocessed

Another reprocessing while waiting for the weather to improve. The data for this was taken on 30th June 2015 from London. This time I used the processing tools in Nebulosity and Maxim DL in order to get what I think is a better image than before.

19 x 2 minute subs at 800 ISO

 6 x dark frames

11 x flat frames

24 x bias/offset frames

Guiding by PHD

Calibrated and stacked in Maxim DL

Post Processed in Nebulosity, Maxim DL and Photoshop

Cool dumbell.... I'm glad that you got the reddish hues at the faint extremities. I thought that in my image the red coming through were a case of over cooking the image, but your image confirmed for me that it must be there.
