Stellarium OpenGL 2.1 + Nvidia GEforce 9200m GS

Hi Folks,

I've just installed Stellarium on my laptop and although it runs ok the graphics quality is low because I need to get OpenGL 2.1 running on my Nvidia GEforce 9200m GS graphics card.

I realise this may not be the best forum (or even the best site!) to ask this on,  but can anyone tell me how I install OpenGL 2.1?  If not directly, anyone know of any hardware forums I can ask on?

I would suggest going to the Nvidia site and downloading latest drivers for your card.

Have a Decko here too Neil, see if your Graphics Card is listed, and follow the previous posters  advice.

Yep, been to that site, downloaded / installed latest driver, still have degraded graphics. It's useable, but the names of the objects are fragmented.

I'm on the OpenGL website now.

Have you tried running Stellarium v 12.3??

Do you know if I am I missing much comparing this version to the latest?

Not a great deal that you cannot import. Used to use a laptop to control 10"lx with that version. Can't remember if the satellites plug in is in that version, its far better to use it and stay within the capability of the tech.
