Hello from Clacton

Essex nightsky

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to pop my head in and introduce myself, I am nwe to astronomy (about 2 months) but am really enjoying the steep learning curve (but not the steep decline in bank balance) associated with astrophotography.

I live in Clacton and am looking forward to bumping into some fellow observers on the forum, and in time at some star parties/observing sessions.

Anyway wishing you all (and myself in turn) clear skies

Grant

Map plotting light pollution vs cloud cover and your area is up there

This is a good map as well, and you can zoom in.

Have a look in the venturing out thread and it highlights some of our trips out.
