White light AR2239, 10th May

Hi all,

I was lucky to also get the big AR in white light on Sunday. I think it's come out a bit better than I was hoping as conditions seemed to be falling off a bit. Maybe the ASI's fast frame rate helped if it's come out okay? Also I had quite a fast shutter speed.

I think that's the first time I've managed to try the ASI in white light with my 120mm scope since I got the camera in February

That's an awesome capture!

And to think that each one of these small granules are just the tops of long thermal columns from the convective zone.
