Venus 5th April in daylight

I thought I would try imaging Venus at higher altitude during the day. This was about 4.20pm at 52 degs altitude. Red filter.

Excellent image. That is precisely what I did when doing a Venus project in 2010/11. http://astrosnaps.co.uk/planets.html

It also has the advantage that Venus is available to image for a longer period.

Nice work! Just yesterday I was having my first go at Venus and was wondering if there would be less wobble imaging earlier - this seems to answer the question. That said I see you have a C14 so my SW 200 wont match it at any time of day!
