NGC4565

Inspired by Ian's (Ianporter13) quick NGC4565, and being an object that I hadn't imaged before, I decided to 'give it a go' last night.

I set out for 2 hours on this one, but decided to call a halt at 100 mins, as by this time it was 01.00, and I was 'nodding'.

Unfortunately, when I came to 'stack' them this evening, I discovered that 2x10 mins subs had been spoilt by aircraft flying across the FOV :).

So, here's the result of 80 mins (8x10mins).

12" LX200R + FR at f/7. SXVF-H9C and 8x10min subs.

Dave

That is so salubrious. You've really got the measure of all that gear of yours now Dave.

I shudder to think what will ensue when the skies become as good as the equipment.

Could be back to backs here.

Ron.
