Hi There!

I am new to astronomy and keen to learn more. I have invested in an ETX 125 and have joined the Vectis Astronomical Society (VAS). I attended part of the "Star Party" that they had organised last weekend and had a really enjoyable time. I look forward to learning more about everything skywards!

Some fairly dark site on the IOW. When I go there on holiday I usually try and do some observing from St Boniface Down.

My parents live on the IOW and attended an open-day at the Vectis Astronomical Society a while back. Unfortunately a cloudy sky prevented any observing but they found it interesting in a 'so that's what Steve sells' kind of way. I hope to visit myself when next on the Island
