The weather being what it is and with the Moon high up this humble effort from the back garden is all that I could come up with before the freezing fog arrived.

Just 6 subs I am afraid.

6 X 900s  with full calibration frames stacked and processed in PI and PS.

WO Star 71, Modded Canon 1100d @ iso 1600 with Astronomik 12nm Ha filter and HEQ5.

Thanks for looking,

A.G

Lovely detail and framing. Begin such a bright target I think it's possible to get away with a small number of subs, as the data (and noise) doesn't need to be stretched hard.

And it contains my new favourite constellation - Orion's Mini Me - just south-East of Florida!

Thanks, never noticed or heard of that one. Perhaps the constellation art needs updating?

There is a good discussion going on about Straton star removal software some where in the forum that Olly started. So Here I present you with the Starless version of the NGC 7000, IC 5070 using Straton and some blending using layer masking in PS.

Let me know what you think please.

Regards,

A.G
