Lol the former, Kieron from the magazine said they would put a correction in the next issue so guess that means I can say I've been in there again!

At least you will get your prize though :-)

Mistakes in publishing go with the territory I'm afraid.

I have published many papers, and it does not matter how many times you proof read something you will always find mistakes when it's published.  A freind of mine who is a geologist published a book which was a geological guide to the lake district. Dispite being proof read by three people, the Acknowledgements section on the first page mentions 'Prof John Smith of Royal Hoolaway and Bedford New College' instead of 'Holloway'!

in work we publish inspection reports all the time,  today for example we had to send a manegement letter (a pre report with feedback of the inspection before the report is drafted)

it was Q/A by the drafting manager, me, my line manager and another person, and just before being published it was checked once more and a spelling mistake was found.  

sadly things happen like this but im glad its all sorted now! :)
