Best way to stop adapters Jamming

Before i go setting up my FSQ now that all my adapters are in hand, ( really i dot need any more... I dont believe it myself !!! ) what is the best way to stop stuff from jamming, I have been plagued with this over the years and really don't want it happening with this level of gear.

Shoe polish stops cold welding - I assume that this is the sort of jamming you are looking to combat Earl?

A very thin smear of petroleum jelly (Vasaline) should do the trick.

cold freezing and jamming in general.

A small dab of boot polish will do the trick.

Vaseline and grease based products tend to give problems around optics.

I use a silicone grease from Wickes meant for use on push fit plumbing fittings, one pot will last a lifetime, just a spot on a cloth and wipe round the thread, never had a seized thread.

I keep my adapters etc at the same temperature when I use them. For example I don't use pocket warm extenders on ice cold cameras.

I've started using ACF-50 instead of boot polish, so far so good. Quick squirt on a cotton bud & wipe around the threads.

Copper anti-seize ? Not sure if this is good around optics though. We use vacuum grease as it does not outgas.

FLO sell the Baader T2 mount plastic spacers. These are great at preventing cold welding of T2 mount adaptors.
