Mars opposition from London - Celestron Nexstar 8 SE

DBK/DMK 21s used respectively.  2 and 2.5x barlow.

Seeing was quite decent as London goes.  Taken between 23:17-23:44 UT at 31-32 degrees altitude.

Very nice. I had hoped to do a bit of imaging, but when it was still raining at 23:00 I gave up. After midnight, it did of course clear up, but by then I had to get some sleep.

Didn't do any imaging but was out with some co-workers after our shift and had some ok views but seeing was not the greatest. Not showing much detail tonight even with the 10" dob.

That encourages me to have another go at the 2.5 barlow mono one which I didn't put up to date because I wasn't satisfied with the result.  (Got an issue with the right limb for some reason...)

Very glad the overcast weather cleared up for the right day before coming back.
