M63 - Sunflower Galaxy

I have now had my first night under actually dark skies.  :D

Normaly I shoot from Malmoe (big city with Copenhagen right next to it) but now

I visited a friend far from Malmoe and was able to capture this.

The image is 40x300s Lum with an ED80 and Atik 314L+ on a HEQ5 guided with a 90mm Mak and QHY5LII.

I am going to capture the RGB from Malmoe as soon as the weather allows me to. :)

I also tried the Needle Galaxy. This was a test with a C8 that I was able to borrow.

However I wasn´t able to get the guiding to work. Probably because of poor polar alignment.

Hopefully I will be able to mount my stuff on a pier soon and get a more precise polar alignment. :D

Any comments are very welcome.  :)

Thank you all of you. :)

One thing I noticed now is that the background on M63 is abit dark and some of the background galaxies vanished.

I guess it´s a compression thing when I converted it to png.

Is there any method to avoid "destroying" your images when converting them? :)
