Glad it wasn't just me then! The seeing was awful for me also last night and we are in the same area I think. I couldn't even focus the refractor properly, autofocus wouldn't work because it couldn't find critical focus.

Good Jupiter image though, and not that many miles away either. Amazing how conditions can vary over relatively short distances.

Yes Chris I was down the road at Congleton. My theory is that the because the breeze was coming from the North East it would be coming off the hills. As you say it was impossible to focus.

Another superb image Simon. Great detail  with the Great Red Spot lurking in the shadows! Was out on the 11th as well Simon but like Stuart things do not look too clever. You certainly have came up trumps though - well done!
