Good Morning from the North East

Well, as you may of guessed from the Post Count of 1, this is my first time here.

I got a present from my other half of a nice shiny Celestron NexStar 80SLT for christmas.

Any beginner guides for this particular scope out there? Recommended books etc.

Hi and welcome. Not sure I can really advise on books etc, but I was given "Turn Left at Orion" for xmas and this has lots of recommendations in the forums as a good book for helping locate objects etc (although, I'm not sure that'll help much, as your scope has Goto I think..)

Welcome aboard, You could do worse than downloading Stellarium, which shows you what's in the sky at a given moment.
