Hello from Malta

Good night stargazers.

Another newbie is joining you! Currently I live in Malta, I am a personal trainer with quite a few hobbies. Naturally athletics is one of them, then numismatics (I collect older British coins and historical medals), hiking, caving, snorkeling and of course stargazing.

Since I was a kid always wanted to have a telescope, now I decided to make my childhood dream come true. A couple of days ago I finally bought my first telescope Celestron Astromaster 130 EQ. I'm very happy.

Astronomy is the new book for me and I need a lot to learn and I hope this is a good forum for getting the advice and help. Soon I will throw you a lot of questions, if you have time and desire to help then you will become my best astrofriend .

Sky is clear as usual. I think for about 2 months without clouds.

Unfortunatelly there is too much light where I live. But I will have a long weekend, and we (me and my girl) will go on the top of the hill for long night star gazing.
