Hello everyone,

Iniitially got the bug from viewing the Milky Way in the Aus outback with the sight of Saturn through my first telescope soon after sealing the deal!

I've had a small 70mm refractor for a while but have recently added a 6" Mak with an intention to gradually learn the dark arts of astrophotography.

Adapting the principal that free beer always tastes better, I'm going to cannabilise an xbox webcam to get me started for peanuts. This website has been fantastic on providing some good tips to get me started, thank you.

I've never taken such an interest in the weather forecasts (!) and I'm looking forward to some clear skies in the near future!
