M51 despite the weather

Despite the poor weather recently, I've managed to get a few hours now on M51.

Last night was another session and although low in the sky, among the town lights, I'm beginning to see some data coming through.

I'd dearly like to get some more data, weather permitting, but it's a start.

That's how i see it - a start!

Nice to get some data I can use, despite the clouds. We had a window from 4:00 in the afternoon until midnight last night and M51 is still very low until midnight. I've started now as this is a project I want to continue with.

Managed to get some more data the other night (now about 4 hours).

I thought I would post so people can see the benefit of capturing more time.

As it gets higher in the sky it should become easier to get better images, as they are currently a little 'misty' to to the low elevation and poor weather.

Very nice, Being near you my weather was the same but managed 9 usable 3 minute subs with the ATIK16.
