Hi all! I am a seasoned CloudyNights member and some of you may well know me.

I have been more or less a amateur astronomer since I was about 9 years old. Like 50 years ago!!! :smiley:

I just purchased a Meade 14" LX850 OTA and a buddy of mine will be using the mount for his AstroTech 12" RC. So I was lurking around the internet to see who else may have already received this new release. I think Meade finally has this right! In any event, I am looking forward to imaging again with this new OTA on my AP1200 mount.

Hi Len and welcome to the forum. That's sounds a very nice setup indeed so I shall definitely keep watch for your first light report if I don't dehydrate in the meantime with my incessant dribbling! :grin: :grin:
