At last a clear night although a little breezy managed to run of a few avis, this being the best one, its a little noisy but but shows a fair bit of detail! Thanks for looking.

That's a lovely image. Better than I achieved last night. It was clear but I struggled to get any good avi's - the air was a bit turbulent. It was quite windy here too.

amazing image, very sharp. I take it one needs a scope like a C9.25 or large newt to get this sort of planetary image?

I have the Meade 127 APO and an Atik 428OSC CCD and Canon 1100D

and was hoping to do some planetary, but any attempts so far have been poor. I was using a philips web cam
