Sounds great mike, you must have muscles on your muscles.I had some concrete posts and panels delivered last week I thought I'd be able to get them off the lorry, through my house and out the back garden on my own. I couldn't believe how heavy they were. My forearms are black and blue after carrying them. Setting them up and concreting them in is definitely going to be a two man job.

Going through the house negotiating doors and turns is no fun. Fortunately our ground floor is still gutted. As for muscles, It feels more like I'm developing rigger-mortice, and as for black and blue, I think we're running in the same race. It will be worth the effort to have better observing spots though.

Cheers Steve

Interesting stats, my first visit to forum for over a year and not had scope out since May 12. Since my (temporary) move there's been no time. When there is we get clouds or the security lights come on - isolated church, not prison! Bins here we come

Well we're in a bit of an observing desert at the moment but I have a good feeling things are going to improve as the week progresses.

We're now equalling the longest single span of nights on which you could not observe in this part of the world but it looks like thats going to stop starting tonight fingers crossed. So much negativity about our British climate but so far we've never gone much more than a week before a window opens up which is suprizing the hell out of me I must admit.

Guys on the weather forum are predicting the breakdown of this current heatwave about the 26/27 July which will bring in massive thunderstorms but then possibly followed by a reload of even hotter weather coming accross from France- who knows this far out but July is shaping up after a slow start to have the most clear nights of the year.
