Yesterday was a bit of a struggle but I managed it, squeezed between the house and the fence I was a whole paving slab further down than last week and really I cannot go back any further. Roll on February!

I had a bit of a twig problem then clouds rolled in but I managed to get a full disc yesterday with the Solarscope SF-100 and the DMK41.

Thanks for looking but it will be the PST pair from now until next February.

Thank you Alexandra. I was looking at the 'tree' prominence yesterday and was hoping someone would post an image of it.

Lovely capture, shows off all the fine detail that was there visually.

Sorry to hear you've lost the sun for a while now :-(

Cheers

Stu

Excellent prom and detail coming through in your images as usual. Shame you're out of space to get set up until Feb.

A great set to sign off on for the year though.

I'm sure there's lots more to come next year

A few have commented about the diving weights, how else do you balance? have I missed something?

I doubt that you have. Personally it just amuses me to see a precision scientific instrument with a couple of large lumps of lead strapped to it. It's a little incongruous :)

Wow, excellent and beautiful images as always. My favorite is the close-up of AR1619. As much as I want to pefect my coloring for a relaistic feel, nothing like the contrast of black and white. And the resoultion and detail is great.
