Well, I'm back into astronomy again, this time purely visual.....

apart from a bit of webcam planetary & lunar.

I went down the DSO imaging route for many years and ended up frustrated with chronic lp and unwilling to switch from one-shot colour to Ha as I don't have any potential for an obsy.

I sold the lot and gave up for a few years, but you know how it is......

when it's in your blood, resistance is futile.

So, I'm back with a simple set up of Celestron Nexstar 6 SE and in the market for good eyepieces.

I've owned and used an Orion 12" dob with a 13mm Ethos, so I guess I'm gonna be permanently disappointed!

Anyway, thought I'd join this forum as it caters for visual peepers like me.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

Kicked off with some stunning views of Jupiter (looking superb at the moment) M42, NGC891 (rather faint but visible) M45, M57, M27 and also for my first ever view - Uranus.

The Nexstar performed flawlessly so I'm delighted.

I look forward to participation here.
