Just a quick hello to everyone in the Stargazers lounge forum.

My name is Dean, 39yrs old and have decided to rekindle an old hobby with fresh eyes!

I used to own when I was 16, a small 2" refractor which learnt me the skies and got me interested. Then like most people, marriage & kids put halt to that for a while.

Well I am now ready to start again!

I am going to now put a post in the advice section as I have got 2 scopes in mind and would really appreciate a knowledgable peice of advice on which to go for.

Welcome to SGL Dean. You will get all the aswers you require. All you have to do is ask.

Good luck with your new scope, when we decide which one you are going to buy that is Very adept at spending other peoples dough on here as well. ;)
