Hi everyone, I've posted a few times without introducing myself, so here goes. I've been casually interested in the night skies all my life. I've bene lucky to see some great dark sky locations in France where I have seen a lot of meteors, buty not really understood much else. I've also seen a couple of comets with the naked eye, several years ago.

The 'Brian Cox effect' has well and truly grabbed me over the last couple of years, and I decided to take the hobby a bit more seriously. I am now the proud owner of a Skywatcher 130p. I was really lucky to get 5 clear nights in a row as soon s as I got it. I've had great views of the moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Mars as well as a couple of deep sky objects.

In time I would like to get into astrophotography, probably with a webcam set up.
