Fuzzy Frenzy :)

Last Tuesday I was intending to have a another bash at the Markarians Chain and set off my scope using Starry Night Pro 6 to the target and kicked off the rig. After reviewing the subs later I noticed it wasn't centred on Markarians chain but was centered on nearby M88 so I left it there. I gathered over 70 x 10 minute exposures over 2 nights but ended up ditching around 30+ .

M88 as it turns out is quite small in the field of view but is surrounded by dozens of small galaxies so I was pleased that I had gotten something after what seems like an eternity since that last image I have done.

M88 is part of the Virgo Cluster of Galaxies and is around 47 Million Light Years from Earth.
