Hello!

30yrs ago I was given some binocs and would camp in the garden just gazing at the stars!

Now I'm nearly 40 I've finally bought a scope! (still got the ol' binocs too)

I'm now more interested and settled and out almost every night!

The missus is happy as she gets the TV remote all to herself

I'm going to buy a new scope this week probably a "goto" which I hope will give me a crash course in learning the skies(a lazy way I know )

I've been around various sites searching for information and guides and found this fantastic forum where 'semi' newbies like myself can gain valuable tips!

I may be the one who will be asking a lot of questions to begin with(only just found out about the barlow!)

But I will contribute as much as I can too
