Terriffic. Bang on the money all the way. Those darned stars are the only ones ever to defeat my Baader 7Nm filter. You've done well there too.

Olly

I probably spent more time looking after that star than processing the rest of the image!

Lovely image - worth the effort:icon_salut:. Are you adding colour channels?

Err well....... I took 5 hours worth last night, BUT, I had a problem with the shutter on the mono cam earlier in the evening which I managed to sort out but I forgot to check the rotation when I remounted the CCD, so with the huge crop needed after registration its not realy worth it......ho hum

That's very nice. One of cleanest and sharpest I've seen.

Here's a suggestion..... Try a good few S11 subs. Then map Ha to red and S11 to green and blue !! There are a few really well defined S11 regions in there that look beautiful.

Odd ball I know but try it and see. Watch that damn star though. It will want to glow blue.

Dave.

As it happens I have the NB filters in at the moment, might give that a go if I get a couple of clear hours.

Hi Martin,

Glad you fancy a go at it. I hope you'll like it. Even if you don't then you'll be 2/3 the way to a full narrowband image. Although some say there is enough O111 around, I've been disappointed with the quantity so far. Some will show up bottom left on your image as nice wispy bits.

Good luck.

Dave.
