Hi to all at SGL

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I am Simon & live in Bridgwater, Somerset, England. I have an Orion XT8i with a selection of lenses and a Nikon D5100 for astrophotography. I am also a member (on my 3rd year of membership) of Bridgwater Astronomical Society. I am looking for a bit of advice since receiving a T-ring and 2" T2 Revelation Astro camera adapter. I attempted to take a shot of the moon tonight but was unable to get my camera to focus at any point through the Crayford focuser movement. Have I got the wrong adapter? Thanks
