I went out this morning to pick up my copy of Sky at Night magizine and while reading page 22 notice an image of the horse head nebula..

hello I thought that looks like the image I took a while back... wait a minute that IS the image I took...

A very excited man in a car in the shopping car park then went wahooooo!

I got the message of the month and 4 astronomy books are heading my way how cool is that. :D

So I came home a very happy chappy. This months mag also has a great section on editing your images as well. All that and Christmas as well..Heres the image that I took.

Actually my name is spelled Casto not Castro as they put in the paper but I often get confused with the Cuban leader here i am hugging Gagarin

Yes it looks quite dark in the mag but I have worked on this one further and drawn out much more detail, Still four new astronomy books that really cheered me up.

Actually I still really like the unprocessed image from the original stack better then the processed one.

Excellent photo and huge congrats, I would need to perform a severe "hair cut" on my neighbours tree as i still cannot see Orion grrr !
