Hi all,

Just started studying for physics/astronomy degree with the OU and interested in all things space, particularly interstellar travel. Also a big sci-fi fan. Will have a look around the fourms and post some more later...

A warm welcome to the SGL also from Essex, good luck with the physics/astronomy degree you would benefit by joining a Astronomy club there are people there that love to share there knowledge and will give you a chance to see through some scopes

To Doug - thanks, should have mentioned that I am a member of NEAS but good advice nonetheless! It was someone at the society who told me about Stargazers Lounge.
