Hi I am Gareth and live near Walsall. I have been a member on here for a little bit but normally just look at what other people write, as people here have much more knowledge on here than me. I am 28 and I have a C8 SGT XLT which is my second scope. At the moment I have not done too much observing due to the fact I lost all my eyepieces in moving house! So now I am slowly buying them back, although trying not to buy the same ones as I still think they will turn up. I am currently considering buying a solar scope although not sure which one. When not working I do go to Walsall Astronomical Society which has really helped me.

Hi Gazmass,

Welcome to SGL, great scope you have there.

Cheers I brought it from ebay, I bid on it expecting it to shoot up in price as others bidded but it never happened! I was the only bidder. But the difference on using it in dark skies to here is just amazing. Was not expecting it to be as good as it was.
