Hi from currently cloudy Rugby.This my first post,though I've been

following the forums with interest for some time.

Skywatching for years on and off with binos then scopes,visual only

so far.Got up early to catch Jupiter,no luck so far!

Welcome to SGL.

Jupiter starts to appear mid evening and is directly above around midnight. You might be getting up too late. Try the evening before instead :)
