Yep it's gonna be clear and bright here tonight. Not good for DSO imaging (without NB). I suppose I could always try my hand at lunar or Jupiter, but I'm just hopeless at it .

Im all setup, aligned the finder to the OTA, and just waiting to setup the GoTo for the first time proper.

Waiting for the skies to go dark now, just deciding whether or not observe this evening or wait until early morning when there are different constellations about. It is a shame that the moon will be present basically all night. I will have to wait for the moon to disappear before making some proper observations.

Time to see if I can get the focus on Jupiter sorted out once and for all. Bakhtinov mask has been made, new (refurbished) laptop arrived from Morgans yesterday, just wish I hadn't sold that lovely crayford!
